If I'm waiting for my train comes in station, doing thing in public. It's illegal for anyone, even journalist take a picture of me without my permission.
In public doesn't mean you relinquish your privacy willingly.

hm… interesting fact… that I was not much aware of I guess… but then a question arises – howcome / what about all those CCVT cameras in public places… especially trains stations etc ?? or because that's a government agency that's ok? although I suspect that CCVT are still outsourced to be operated to private commercial businesses…

Only authorised person can access CCTV records. But if the photo or video want to be published, people face must be masked. Same as private car plates.

ok, interesting… in fact, I actually had an interesting personal experience… few years ago on a Chelsea beach… my wife (8 mnths pregnant with our 2nd child) was taking photos of me and our older child playing with a beachball in the water… some crazy 55-something lady that happened to be about 10m away further in the sea has got an idea that that my wife(!!) was taking pictures of her(!!!)… and she did not just tell us or something… she quietly called the police which promptly arrived on a funny sand-driving 4wd tractor… much to our surprise… and then she unleashed her bullshit allegations…
luckily the police in this country do really have brains and they were quick to sort it out and reassure us that they will in fact protect us from an "insane lady" if she will bother us again with her crazy allegations!!

as I said, luckily it was my wife (!!) with the camera and not me…
btw, to be honest – on the beach in the water, without my "minus 10" shortsighted/astigmatic glasses on, I won't be able to tell the difference between 15yo and 55yo from 10m away…
