Goldman Sachs is mourning the death of a valued client today … Muammar Muhammad Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi.

Reshared post from +Erfun Kheirandish

Steve Yegge, a Google engineer, in an internal rant criticising Google's lack of platform, writes in length about why Facebook has been successful and why Apple and even Microsoft are years ahead of Google in having their own platform supporting their products.
Steve argues that Google is only a product maker and this will not guarantee its future.
However, this letter was not supposed to be published publicly but when It was found out that it has Google did not even suggest censoring it. Nonetheless, Steve decided to delete it from his stream but agreed later to have it in public access.

I enjoyed reading this rather long writing.
